You can drive large vehicles if you have a CPC qualification

You can drive large vehicles professionally if both of the following apply:

you’re between 18 and 20
you take a CPC qualification

You’ll also need:

a full car licence
to apply for provisional category C entitlement
to take the category C test

You need a provisional driving licence to take lessons or practice.

You must pass your theory test before you can book your driving test.
Step 6 When you pass
You can start driving as soon as you pass your driving test.

You must have an insurance policy that allows you to drive without supervision.
