Promotes policies and practices that improve privately delivered health care for the poor in low and middle-income countries.

Aim

The Center for Health Market Innovations (CHMI) promotes policies and practices that improve privately delivered health care for the poor in low- and middle- income countries. The programme database profiles over 1,200 innovative health enterprises. CHMI works through a global network of partners and is managed by the Results for Development Institute (R4D).

Funding

CHMI is in the process of setting up a competition to support scale up and replication of promising models on non-state health provision for the poorest. Small grants will be awarded to the best proposals submitted to CHMI.
