The internal audit profession involves providing independent assurance and advisory services to organizations, evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes. Internal Audit Profession is part of the Civil Service .
The Office for the Internal Market (OIM) supports the effective operation of the UK’s internal market, and provides expert and independent advice to the UK government and devolved governments. OIM is part of the Competition and Markets Authority .
