Using Theory of Change as an approach to design complex mental health interventions: lessons from PRIME.

Abstract

This study outlines the Theory of Change (ToC) process across and within PRIME countries in developing draft mental health care plans. ToC workshops were conducted in each country to create a forum for knowledge exchange between researchers and other stakeholders. Theory of Change provides a structured and participatory approach which can be used to guide the design of contextually relevant complex mental health interventions.
