Abstract

This report provides an overview of Turkey’s experience and engagement in mediation processes.

Findings suggest that Turkey aspires to become an international player with the potential to influence and achieve positive outcomes. However, this aspiration is not matched by the results of Turkey’s engagement in this field, if adopting established definitions of mediation as an institutionalised process.
