Drawing out the main themes from a recent review of the literature on the political economy of energy access and power sector reform (Barnett, et al, 2018) with a view to identifying lessons on how energy access goals might be achieved more effectively.

This research is part of the Energy and Economic Growth Applied Research Programme.
