Abstract

n this video presentation, Professor Lucy Gilson from the University of Cape Town talks about an approach to implementation research being undertaken as part of the RESYST governance research theme.

This approach is also known as 'learning sites' and looks at the decision-making practices of public leaders within the routines of the health system.

The presentation covers the conceptual and methodological starting points for the learning sites and the experience from South Africa.

The presentation was given at the Oxford Health Systems Collaboration Symposium in Oxford, UK.
