Review study on the hydrogen transition and cooking
This report looks at the state and future cost of cooking with green hydrogen based on a modified liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stove design.
Abstract
This report discusses if and when the green hydrogen transition could play a role in clean cooking in India, Morocco, and South Africa based on an analysis of the ecosystems and cost. The report investigates the potential for green hydrogen to reduce or compete on cost with current cooking fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or electricity in the near future.
This is an output of the Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) programme.
