Abstract

This report reviews, critically evaluates and presents available evidence relevant to the design of the ‘Asia Pacific Regional Climate Resilience Platform’. The geographic scope of the evidence review includes: global and regional literature relevant for South Asia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and to a lesser priority, the Pacific region. It also targets national case studies from the following countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam.

The review presents the available literature, but also assesses the breadth and depth of evidence available on key research themes such as synergies and trade-offs between climate action and Sustainable Development Goals.
