Abstract

This IDS Bulletin presents country case studies from Bangladesh, Brazil, Costa Rica, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Palestine, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sudan and the UK which offer insights into the pathways of increasing women's decision-making power and the underlying assumptions about gender, power and politics as well as the the policy issues for consideration.
