Abstract

The UNC Water and Health Conference, 29th October to 2nd November 2012, provided a forum for sharing research regarding drinking water supply, sanitation, hygiene and water resources, with a strong public health emphasis. SHARE co-convened several side events, including one on equity. During this session, Rolf Luyendijk of UNICEF gave this presentation on disparities in access to safe water and sanitation as influenced by factors including ethnicity, geographic area and poverty.
