This manual offers key evidenced-based interventions to support countries in promoting actions with a focus on road engineering measures, standardized vehicle safety features and the introduction and enforcement of key road safety legislation combined with strong social marketing.
The manual is applicable worldwide, but targets decision-makers and practitioners in developing countries. The steps outlined for conducting a situational assessment aim to help prioritize interventions, prepare a related plan of action and help implement and evaluate Powered two-and-three-wheeler safety measures.
