Abstract

This document summarizes the problem of malaria and describes the work of DNDi and its partners in developing new treatments, in particular the recently introduced fixed-dose combination therapies ASMQ (artesunate + mefloquine) initially for use in Latin America and ASAQ (artesunate + amodiaquine) initially for use in Africa (both formulations have potential for use in other parts of the world as well).
