Abstract

This helpdesk response provides a review of the literature on Budget Support (BS), both General Budget Support (GBS) and Sector Budget Support (SBS) to be used as a tool for development practitioners to assist them in designing and managing BS programmes. This query used a mixed approach of database searches, following-up on references from relevant documents, and contacting experts for literature suggestions.
