Abstract

This project evaluated whether proposed reforms to WTO procedures are capable of advancing the interests of the poor in developing countries. It looked at three main aspects: The Domestic Politics of Trade Policymaking; Reforms to WTO Institutional Mechanisms; and The WTO and rights.

This report consists of five Sections: (1) Background and Objectives; (2) Methods; (3) Summary of Key Policy-Relevant Findings; (4) Dissemination Strategy; and (5) Publication Highlights. The main body of the report is followed by three Appendices: (I) Note on Methodologies; (II) Details of Dissemination Activities by Core Members of Project Team; and (III) Overview of Written Outputs.
