Abstract

The Purpose of the project was to develop strategies to reduce the impact of pests and stabilise yields and cultivation practices of crops in Hillsides systems, for the benefit of poor people. The project aimed to contribute to this Purpose by producing new methods for control of the major insect pests of potato in Bolivia based on natural pathogens and attractants, and to disseminate these for use by poor farmers in IPM programmes already promoted by PROINPA and CIP.
