Abstract

This document represents the final report of project R7517, \"Bridging research and development in soil fertility management: Practical approaches and tools for local farmers and professionals in the Ugandan hillsides\". The report describes project activities and outputs, including the development and validation of a series of tools and approaches for assessing soil fertility status, selecting and fine-tuning soil fertiliy management options and assessing the position of farmers with respect to soil and water conservation practices.
