Climate change and development: a consultation on key researchable issues.

Abstract

The International Institute for Environment and Development together with the Regional and International Networking Group members in India, Kenya and Senegal carried out a consultation exercise to identify the priority research and policy issues for the most vulnerable countries and communities in different regions in the South. Issues addressed include agriculture and food security, water resources, natural disasters, coastal zones, health, ecosystems, energy, security and gender. The report includes sections by different authors on each of these issues, toegether with regional and national scoping studies, and activity reviews. Separate output records have been created for each report section.
