Abstract

This Policy Note draws on the key research findings and policy messages of a 2008/09 study entitled The Dynamics of Poverty in Senegal: Chronic poverty, transitional poverty, and vulnerabilities. The study captured 80 years of Senegal’s social history through its research participants, and analysed how people enter, remain in, and exit poverty.
