Abstract

This scoping study was undertaken to assess the degree of capacity building support available to graduate level research and training in the social sciences in Africa. Particular emphasis was placed on major funders and larger scale initiatives in Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, the six countries that PASGR initially focused on.
