Abstract

In August 2015, the Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit and SHARE convened a one-day Sanitation and Hygiene Research Symposium in Dar es Salaam, that brought together key stakeholders from Tanzania’s sanitation sector to focus on challenges of post-2015 Development Goals, highlighting persistent knowledge gaps and national research priorities, so as to strengthen SHARE’s proposed Tanzanian research (with MITU and WaterAid Tanzania) for 2015-2018. This briefing summarises the presentations and discussions that took place.
