A study on learning to cook: Rwanda
Report presents the findings from a study conducted to explore how people living in urban and peri urban areas of Kigali, Rwanda learn to cook.
Abstract
Through a mix of one-to-one interviews and focus group discussions, this study aimed to examine how and where people learn their cooking skills, what cooking practices they rely on, the differences in cooking between generations, their perceptions of the future of cooking, and what fuels and technologies they adopt during cooking and why.
This is an output of the Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) programme.
