Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as the supplied plug does not have a fuse. A fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions and without it, the product may overheat and ignite, causing a fire. The plug face also does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and cannot make a secure connection to the socket. The earth pin is sheathed, and the live and neutral pins are positioned less than 9.5 mm from the periphery of the plug face, exposing the user to live parts.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
