The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the dimensions of the sleeved parts of the plug pin differed from the metal parts of the pins. This resulted in a distinct step between the two. This could cause damage to the socket and undue wear and tear to the sleeve. As the plug does not fit into a gauge correctly, this could make the product likely to cause harm to the user due to the live and earth pins not making contact correctly.
