The product is deemed to present a high risk of fire as the accompanying instructions were not adequate to ensure that the equipment could be safely installed and maintained. It is therefore deemed to be a risk of overheating from the inadvertent misuse of the luminaire. Also, the maximum wattage noted on the instructions (150w) differed from the wattage marked on the rating label (40w). The product was also missing some required documentation and markings.
The product does not comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
