Hazard
The product poses a serious chemical risk as the plasticised material contains 13.015% bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). This is in excess of the maximum permitted concentration of 0.1%. These phthalates may harm the health of children, possibly causing damage to the reproductive system.
The detachable plastic shapes on the product also fit wholly inside a small parts cylinder and may present a choking risk to young children.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulation 2011.
Corrective action
The product has been withdrawn from the market by All Goods, Stevenage.
