Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as there is no evidence that it has been assessed using relevant UK conformity assessment procedures as a valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied. In the absence of evidence to demonstrate the conformity of the product, it may be possible for it to overheat and catch fire. The fuse within the plug also has insufficient granular filler. The filler is required to ensure the safe operation of the fuse under fault conditions, and its absence could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding.
This product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
