Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of asphyxiation to the intended user, small children because of its physical form. The large kangaroo teether included is of a certain shape/size that could press on the back of the throat of a small child who is too young to sit up unaided. This means that it could become impacted in their airway and potentially cause a blockage. When tested, the large kangaroo feet protruded past the base of the template that it should fit into. The product was also missing some of the required documentation and markings.
The product does not comply with the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
Destruction of the product.
