Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the transformer is of poor build and does not meet the required creepage and clearance distances. Over time, the internal wiring may loosen due to poor build quality, which may cause the product to become live. It is possible for a consumer to touch the product and receive an electric shock. The plug face also does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 and the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
