Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The height of the live and neutral pin sleeves are below the minimum permitted tolerance, which means it may not make a secure connection with the socket. This could cause the plug to overheat and catch fire.  

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Corrective action

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
