The product presents a risk of electric shock because the insulated shutter operating device (ISOD), also known as the plastic earth pin, exceeds the maximum dimensions permitted by BS 1363. This may prevent the socket shutters from operating correctly and allow access to live parts under fault conditions. This could cause the user to receive an electric shock.
