The product presents a serious chemical risk as following analysis, the cream was found to contain 422mg/kg (0.042% w/w) clobetasol propionate which is prohibited in cosmetic products. The product’s ingredients list on the tube also indicated the presence of hydroquinone, which is prohibited in this type of product, and the ingredient was not listed on the box.
The product also required improvements to labelling and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
