Hazard
The affected highchairs present a risk of injuries as the four screws holding the seat unit to the base module may become loose leading to the seat becoming detached. If the seat detaches whilst in use the child could fall from a height and receive injuries.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
Bababing have launched a modification programme where consumers who own an affected highchair will be sent a free repair kit. Not all chairs in batch BQ00249 are affected.
