Due to a manufacturing fault, the detachable batteries have the potential to overheat, melt, smoke and may pose a fire hazard. Anker Innovations have initiated a replacement programme for their ‘22D51’ batch of detachable batteries.
The affected batch of the product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
