If a fault were to occur with the product during use, the metal parts accessible to the consumer could become live due to a fault and lack of functioning earthing. Once touched, these live metal parts would cause an electric shock. The product had not been accompanied by adequate instructions and safety information in a language easily understood by consumers and other end-users.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
