Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire because the plug did not comply with BS1362 due to the absence of a fuse. A correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the plug under fault conditions, and its absence could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. Additionally, the plug pins are too close to the edge of the plug face, enabling access to live parts.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
