Hazard: The product presents a serious risk of injuries as, at the preconditioning stage of testing, the top rung end caps and locking catches ruptured the rung brackets and one rung ruptured. The release indicator and locking mechanism broke on one rung and there was permanent deformation in rungs around locking mechanisms.

Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries as, at the preconditioning stage of testing, the top rung end caps and locking catches ruptured the rung brackets of one rung ruptured. The release indicator and locking mechanism broke on one rung and there was permanent deformation in rungs around locking mechanisms. Furthermore, the ladder failed the test requirements of the relevant standard (BS EN 131-6:2019) in relation to the dimensional and functionality requirements.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
