Hazard

The intended use of the toy, has been determined by virtue of its function, dimension and characteristics as intended for children under 36 months. The toy was incorrectly marked with a warning not to give to children under 36 months which conflicted with its intended use. The online listings stated the toy was suitable for children of all ages, so a parent or supervisor would reasonably assume the toy was suitable for and could be given to children under 36 months as no other warning was present on-line.

The toy presents a choking hazard as when tested it was found to have male connectors which can easily detach to produce small parts which fit inside the small parts cylinder. The toy contains a removable small ball which would obstruct the airways leading to suffocation were a young child to put the ball into their mouth.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

The product has been recalled from end users and withdrawn from the market.

The listings have been removed by online marketplaces including eBay, Amazon, Wish, OnBuy and Fruugo.
