Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the thermal fuse has not been installed correctly and is not in contact with the heating bowl. It is therefore unlikely to provide the required protection in the event of an overtemperature fault. The product also features non-insulated, live metal parts. Improvements are required to product marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users by Spree TV.
