Hazard

A total number of 3 units have been identified where faulty wiring has resulted in fire during operation. On affected units the compressor power cord was too short causing it to contact internal pipework. This can lead to damage to the power cord insulation leading to arcing and fire.

The product was not in conformity with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action

The importer has issued two separate product warning and recall notifications. These notifications alert users, and explains how to identify if the product is affected and should be returned.
