Hazard

The product failed a Penetration Resistance Test for Whole Footwear with Non-Metallic Anti-Penetration Inserts using the following standard EN ISO 20344:2011(5.8.3). The Toecap version of the product midsole failed 2 perforation tests.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018.

Corrective action

The manufacturer has withdrawn the product from the market and a product recall has been implemented offering suitable alternative safety trainers.
