Hazard
The products present a risk of electric shock as a sealing defect can lead to water ingress during use. If water reaches the internal components, it may cause a short circuit, energising the housing/metal parts and putting the user at risk of electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The products have been recalled from end users.
Consumers who own the products should stop using them immediately and remove the batteries. Please visit: Seascooter and Flux safety notice to arrange a free replacement.
