Hazard: Some products may have an intermittent electrical connection in the COM terminal which may cause an operator to incorrectly assess a hazardous electrical installation as being disconnected/safe to touch.
Corrective action: The importer has withdrawn the product from the market and informed all distributors to stop sale and return any affected. (For more information please see below).

Hazard
Some products may have an intermittent electrical connection in the COM terminal which may cause an operator to incorrectly assess a hazardous electrical installation as being disconnected/safe to touch.
This incorrect assessment could result in electric shock/electrocution/burns due to arc flash if contact is made with the installation conductors.
Corrective action
The importer has withdrawn the affected product from the market and informed all distributors to stop sale and return any affected products.
The importer has informed and contacted distributors/end customers with information related to the potential safety risk and provided instructions to perform a simple test and return the DMMs for repair, free of charge.
