Hazard

The product presents a risk of electric shock because the live and neutral connection markings are reversed. This means the product could be wired incorrectly, presenting a risk of electric shock, overheating and fire.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action

The product has been recalled from end users by Kingfisher International Products Limited.

If you have product(s) with the batches above, disconnect the product fully from the electricity supply. Switching it off at the wall is not sufficient, the plug must be removed from the socket. If the product is permanently wired, isolate the circuit at the consumer unit. Once disconnected return the item to your nearest B&Q store for a refund.
