Hazard
The product presents a risk as cracking or fracturing in the area of the exhalation valve may compromise the structural integrity and sealing performance of the respirator, thereby reducing its effectiveness. As a result, the wearer may be exposed to hazardous airborne particles, fumes, or other contaminants due to inadequate respiratory protection, which may lead to adverse effects on respiratory health.
The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation and the Equipment and Protective Systems intended for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2016 (ATEX).
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from distributors by Helmet Integrated Systems Ltd.
We recommend that you stop using this product immediately and seek redress from the place of purchase.
