Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk and risk of choking as the battery cover can be removed without the aid of a tool. The button cell batteries may be placed in the mouth and swallowed, presenting a choking hazard for young children, and subsequently also presenting a burns hazard by causing damage to the gastrointestinal tract.
The product also presents a risk of burns as the short-circuit causes a smoke release and generates a maximum temperature. The overheating poses a burns hazard to consumers.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (eBay).
