Practise the official driving theory test from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Practice tests are free.
Start now on the Safe Driving for Life website
Before you start
You’ll take a different practice test depending on whether you’re learning to drive a:
- lorry (large goods vehicle)
- bus or coach (passenger carrying vehicle)
Each practice test has 50 questions.
The tests are similar to the real theory test you’ll take at the test centre, but the real lorry, bus and coach tests have 100 questions.
Preparing for the hazard perception part
You can buy the ‘The official DVSA guide to hazard perception’ training DVD-ROM from most high street book shops or order it from The Stationery Office.
