Before you start

You’ll take a different practice test depending on whether you’re learning to drive a:

  • car
  • motorcycle
  • lorry (large goods vehicle)
  • bus or coach (passenger carrying vehicle)

Each practice test has 50 questions.

The tests are similar to the real theory test you’ll take at the test centre, but the real lorry, bus and coach tests have 100 questions.
