Apply for this licence
You can register an expression of interest over ground you are considering prospecting for minerals in Northern Ireland.
During the expression of interest period you’ll be informed by the Department for Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) of any third party prospecting licence applications that apply to that land.

Conditions
An expression of interest is valid for 12 months from the submission date. You can submit a full application for a prospecting licence to DETI at any time during your expression of interest period.
