Adopted EU recommendation LSA-010. UK approved recommendation on the uniform reporting requirements for Life-Saving Appliances as contained in MSC/CIRC 980.
Question
Should MSC/Circ. 980, where applicable, be used as test report form when testing Life-saving Appliances?
Recommendation
Yes.
When testing items of Life-saving Appliances, which are contained in Annex 1, Section 1 of MSN 1974 as amended and for which test report forms exist in MSC/Circ.980, these test report forms should be used.
