Manage intellectual property
You can set up or sign in to an account to manage intellectual property (IP), including patents and applications that you own or represent.
You can:
- apply for a new patent
- view your patents and applications
- report any changes, for example a transfer of ownership or a change of representation
You cannot:
- ask to correct a name or address on a patent
- make changes to any patent applications that are currently being processed
- make changes to trade marks and designs
Before you start
You’ll need your GOV.UK One Login details if you have them.
Managing patents offline
If you cannot manage IP online, you can file documents with the Intellectual Property Office in other ways.
If you need help with using a computer, you can also call the customer support centre to apply online.
